Every month, Shopify introduces new features, and we continue refining our themes based on customer feedback and real store experience. In this monthly update, we'll look at what changed in Charge, Relax, and Divine themes in May 2026 and why these changes matter for merchants.
We’ll reveal the latest improvements along with a few reasons why keeping your theme up to date is worth the effort. Let’s begin.
Lately, we've been observing many stores running theme versions that are months or even years old. Besides missing new features, older versions may not fully support recent Shopify enhancements. Whether you’re a small business or a growing brand, keeping your theme up-to-date is usually the easiest way to get performance improvements, bug fixes, and new customization options without redesigning your store. This is a major reason why updating your theme is worth the effort.
Now let’s move on to the updates in the Charge, Relax, and Divine themes and their presets.
